Watercolor Classes by Valda Robison

Introduction to Watercolors for the Beginner
A one-day workshop for adults
4.5 hours on any weekday (except Thursdays) · 10:00-12:00 (lunch break) 12:30-3:00

1-student: $50
2 students: $40 each
3-4 students: $35 each

*within Shawnee Mission, Kansas. If my travel distance to your place is over 5 miles, there will be a $5 fuel fee added to the total for the group.

Have fun painting with watercolors. Learn some basic techniques, how to mix paint both on the palette and on the paper, and how to make corrections in this medium. Apply what you have learned to a small painting.

For an individual, or a small group of up to four adults (16 yrs+). No previous painting experience necessary.

Art supplies are provided for the students' use.

*Painting With Watercolor* Held at the Shawnee Civic Centre 13817 Johnson Drive (Pflumm & Johnson Dr.) Shawnee, Kansas 7-week sessions held throughout the year. On Thursdays 10:00 am to noon or 1:00 to 3:00 pm While both classes are identical in content, those new to painting are encouraged to attend the morning class because it is usually smaller.
A painting class for the watercolor hobbyist. Beginners are welcome. Each 7-week session focuses on a few basic watercolor techniques which are applied to one or more finished paintings. The instructor will demonstrate step-by-step how to paint each painting. Outlines of each painting design is provided, no drawing skills are needed by the student. Maximum of 12 students in each class. The morning and afternoon classes are identical in content.
