Watercolor Paintings

You can never be completely sure how watercolor paint will react when it hits the paper - which is the
challenge, and the delight of this medium. I like to lay down many glazes of pale paint to build up
the colors and values, resulting in a softness of form and rich glowing colors.

A technique I've been utilizing recently is to paint with a sponge, rather than a brush.
These sponged paintings have quite interesting textures.
